I created a panel featuring a dragonfly I encountered in early summer
and maple leaf I picked at the same time.
The dragonfly, known as the "victory insect"in Japan,
which I express through the transparency of its wings by scorching the wood.

初夏に出会ったサラサヤンマと、拾った紅葉をパネルにしました。
勝ち虫と呼ばれる蜻蛉の勢いと美しさを表現しています。
羽の透明感は木を焦がすことで出しています。

Today marks the anniversary of my studio.
